About Folsom Lake Eye Care
Established in 2016, Folsom Lake Eye Care is a tech-forward, modern practice offering a one-of-a-kind experience for all patients.
Dedicated to helping people see for the first time, the practice provides full-service optometry to families and residents of El Dorado County of all ages and visual diagnoses.
The team of Optometrists are committed to improving the quality of patients' daily activities and specializes in ocular disease treatment and management, pediatric eye care, specialty contact lenses, and surgical co-management.
To drive practice growth, Folsom Lake Eye Care is looking for an Associate Optometrist to join a highly-trained team of 6 employees.
To ensure patients see to their maximum potential, the practice utilizes a variety of advanced technology to test the individual's overall health and visual needs.
The practice is well-equipped with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including primary eye care technology and a high-tech retinal cameral.
In addition, cloud-based technology is utilized to manage electronic health records, establish a baseline of patients' ocular health, and monitors changes.
To efficiently serve patients, online appointment scheduling and office communications are offered via text messaging.
Patients will enjoy personalized attention from the Opticians as they browse a modern boutique of fashionable eyewear for all budgets plus, an onsite finishing lab is available to serve customers conveniently.
About the Associate Optometrist Opening
Folsom Lake Eye Care is seeking a highly-skilled Associate Optometrist passionate about providing personalized care and exceeding patient expectations.
You'll provide full-scope optometric care, including in-depth examinations, ocular disease care, and prescribing contact lenses approximately 13 patients are cared for daily.
The position is two to three days a week with working hours from 9:
00 a.
m.
to 5:
00 p.
m.
and an hour lunch break.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety.
In addition, the ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors continuously and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.
The minimum qualifications include:
- Optometry license in the state of California
