Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes editing correspondence, file maintenance and/or timekeeping. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). OR Education: Completed at least 1/2 year (if determination from your school cannot be made this is typically identified as 9 semester hours) or more of graduate level education at an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering technology, or construction management, or related field of study. Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your graduate semester hours of by 9. Add the two percentages. GS-07 Specialized
Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in the interpretation of plans & specifications. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: Completed one full year (18 semester hours) of graduate education in engineering, engineering technology, or construction management, or related field of study. OR Combination of Education and
Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Experience: One year of specialized experience includes performing a variety of contract administration duties such as processing contractor progress payment requests and submittals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Completed one and a half years (27 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in engineering, engineering technology, or construction management, or related field of study. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
