Engineering Technician (Civil) (DHA SEC 9905)

Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes editing correspondence, file maintenance and/or timekeeping. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). OR Education: Completed at least 1/2 year (if determination from your school cannot be made this is typically identified as 9 semester hours) or more of graduate level education at an accredited college or university in engineering, engineering technology, or construction management, or related field of study. OR Combination of Education and
Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in the interpretation of plans & specifications. Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Experience: One year of specialized experience includes performing a variety of contract administration duties such as processing contractor progress payment requests and submittals. OR Education: Completed one and a half years (27 semester hours) of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in engineering, engineering technology, or construction management, or related field of study.
