Incumbent supports the Regional Manager and administrative program managers in carrying out the mission of the office. This position works closely with the Regional Manager to oversee, coordinate, and manage a broad range of administrative, budgetary, and procurement activities including preparing time and attendance records, processing travel requests and vouchers, and making small purchases with a credit card. Uses electronic systems to include hardware and software components in an office environment to store, retrieve, manipulate, transfer, compute, and/or print information. Makes extensive travel arrangements for the Regional Manager and other front office employees, including all pertinent details such as coordinating dates of visits, arranging for airline reservations, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations. This position has lead responsibility for a team of Federal and contract administrative assistants including coordination of administrative coverage throughout the Regional Manager's office; development of non-lead administrative assistants; and evaluation of administrative resource needs in the Region. This position serves as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for an Administrative Services contract, performing a wide variety of COR administrative duties; such as, assisting the contract bidding process; reviewing and approving invoices from the contractor; resolving discrepancies; approving monetary awards, overtime, training, and travel for the contract employees; and calculating budget items for current and projected fiscal years. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
