Responsibilities
Gathering and submitting information on various assets to an internal website for the distribution throughout the company.
Electronically transferring assets between department financial cost centers.
Shipping equipment and various items both domestically and internationally using an internally online program.
Maintaining an inventory of equipment gathered from various departments.
Creating reports on activities related to the above responsibilities
Complying with any and all policies and regulations pertaining to tasks required to perform
6S (Safety, Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
How to organize a lab space for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and storing the items used, maintaining the area, and sustaining the new order.
The decision-making process usually comes from a dialogue about standardization, which builds understanding among employees of how they should do the work.
