Job Description:
This lengthy contract is an immediate need. Preferences will be given to candidates with experience in applications retirements and data archival. The Senior IT Project Manager role is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of moderate to high-complexity IT projects. The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining project plans, managing the project budget, mitigating project risks and making sure the project is on track and within budget.

Qualifications:
8-12 years of direct Project Management experience with a focus on infrastructure-related domains, including the ability to manage and prioritize across multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
Infrastructure Services including: Data center; infrastructure hardware and software; IT security; disaster recovery; telecommunications and networking; and model office / desktop
Application Services including: Application development; configuration management; EDW and BI; common web and integration services
Shared Services including: Enterprise release management; technology business management; and IT compliance and risk management.
Expert level ability in MS Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio).
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional staff, including IT, other project managers, and multiple levels of leadership, business partners, & vendors.
Agile experience and/or certification preferred.
Expert level knowledge of MS Project required.
Bachelor's degree in IT or CIS
PMP/PMI or equivalent certification preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
