Help Desk Technician

Your mission will be to delight your customers with spectacular technical support and customer service. The person who fills this role will join an elite group of Systems Engineers dedicated to providing remote implementation and first level contact and problem resolution in support of cloud based computer systems, hardware, software and networks.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to our cloud computer offering.
Run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions.
Monitor and maintain cloud computer systems and networks.
Build automation scripts for implementing new clients and problem solving for existing clients.
Improve system performance by identifying problems; recommending changes.
Advise management on situations that may require additional client support or escalation.
1-3 plus years' experience technical customer service support role
Service Desk / Help Desk background
Strong troubleshooting and automation skills
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with many of the following:
Automation with Scripting (PowerShell)
Active Directory
Windows Server OS
Windows and MAC workstation maintenance, patching, and security
Tablet and smartphone maintenance, patching, and security
MS Terminal Services
MS Exchange
Office 365
Google Apps
ConnectWise and Labtech experience is a plus but not required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
