Our Manufacturing Center of Excellence is located in Folsom California and is part of the Chemical Analysis Life Science growing Consumables business. You will manage a team of managers and strategic individual contributors focused on operational processes, products, cost improvements, quality, production and profitability. You will also have the opportunity to develop strategies and multi-year implementation plans for new product introductions and continuous improvements. You will collaborate with the NPI and R&D teams located world wide. We are the worlds industry leader in gas chromatography and sample preparation products. These are high-visibility product lines where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in our key Consumables businesses. In addition we are a benchmark site for embracing 6-Sigma and Lean methodologies making for a lively mix of scientific discovery, process improvement and employee development growth. To achieve these new heights, we are looking for a dynamic individual who has proven leadership abilities for a role in managing in our Manufacturing Operations Environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Establishing the operational business plans and project objectives to meet the short- and long- term goals of the Manufacturing organization.
- Manages employees and/or technical support in various manufacturing or product support departments.
- Manage and balance workforce. Arrange and implement technical support plans to meet shipment requirements and ensure products' quality.
- Process improvement: Manage and continue to improve production processes to enhance quality and maximize production efficiency and productivity.
- People management and development: Recruit, select, appraise performance, and administer wages of reporting employees; create training and development plans for employees; determine assignments and change employee status in accordance with personnel policies of company.
- Business goal support: Understand CSD business and strategic OFS priorities; participate and implement business to support the realization of goals and tactical plans.
- New products support: Create operational project department plans, prototype build designs and organize the building to make sure the project is on schedule. Set up new production lines with lean manufacture knowledge.
- Work environment: Manage the design of processes to ensure a safe, clean and orderly production line work environment.
- Budget: Establish budget and targets and control budget's implementation for assigned area of responsibility.
Requires:
- BS or MS in Business Management or technical related fields.5 years related experience required.
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate across geographies and functions required. -Demonstrated strong communication, leadership and continuous improvement skills required.
-Knowledge of six sigma and lean principles a must.
-Prior management experience within a Manufacturing environment required.
- Demonstrated ability in: Customer satisfaction; Quality control; Process management
- Demonstrated leadership skills in: Organization and planning; Judgment skills; Conflict resolution
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, speaks effectively and listens actively to others.
- Ability to present data and project status.

Desires:
- Familiar with Chemical manufacturing processes and products or similar business environment.
- Familiar with computerized production support tools.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
