Senior Manager, Program Advisory, Inventory Management Transformation

has embarked on an Inventory Management Transformation to enhance capabilities that improve customer service and operational and financial outcomes.
The transformation leverages a data driven approach to define future state, identify key areas of opportunities, and mobilize on delivery.
A critical member of this transformation is the Program Advisor overseeing Gap Inc.
's Inventory Management Transformation roadmap.
The primary objective of this role is to enable the program and organization to achieve planned transformation goals through rigor and focus.
This role is critical to ensuring the consistent application of program management best practices, as well as clear visibility to progress, roadblocks, risks, and key decisions making.
Oversight will be comprehensive across the entire program; this individual will manage the complete portfolio of inventory initiatives partnering with Brand and Central teams to execute new strategies, define new processes, and implement new technologies and analytical solutions.
What You'll Do Partner with IM Leadership to operationalize the program governance model and toolkit consistently across the program and initiatives.
Develop and maintain program framework materials and methodologies (i.
e.
, governance, RACI, RAID, status reporting) Develop and manage program roadmap, and oversee development and management of project plans, if applicable.
Prepare for and participate in cross-program forums to manage roadmap sustainability Oversee project planning by working with business stakeholders and partners to capture project plan elements including phases, key activities, milestones and stage gate timing Ensure relevant program / initiatives are on track, including scope and timeline.
Hold cross functional partners accountable through direct and timely communication.
Provide visibility to program / initiative progress and status updates, KPI performance and value forecast / tracking Anticipate and identify interdependencies, risks and issues proactively; activate partners to address issues before they impact business results.
Support resolution of risks, actions, issues, and decisions (RAID); capture relevant notes and escalate to appropriate stakeholders Support program leadership in developing executive communication materials Partner with technical program manager(s) to understand initiative scope, intended outcomes, and simulation / POC results; shepherd initiative from initial evaluation phase to implementation phase Partner with change management team members to identify and implement change management strategies across initiatives in support of larger program Who You Are 6
years of professional experience; experience in strategy / management consulting, retail / consumer products or similar strategic role preferred Experience in inventory management a plus Experience performing program management and leading PMO activities in complex program structures Strong relationship building skills and experience working closely with senior executives and cross functional partners to influence strategic agendas and operationalize key strategic initiatives Comfort with ambiguity and a dynamic business landscape.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, to prioritize, and to adapt to a changing environment Willingness to dive deep to understand and manage program details, including speaking to and writing executive presentations and managing projects directly Fluency in MSFT suite; PPT, XLS, and Smartsheet; adept at developing executive level presentations and tracking project plans and milestones Recommended Skills Agenda Development Change Management Consumer Product Customer Service Dynamic Business Process Management Finance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
