Head of Stores and Operations

About the RoleThe Head of Stores and Operations will be responsible for leading, developing, and driving key initiatives within the Old Navy stores organization.
In this role, you will lead a team consisting of various levels of field and operation leaders You will create an environment that drives high performance, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, maximum productivity and profitability through developing and empowering your team while fostering a culture of creativity and possibility.
You will lead the field leadership, field visual and store operations teams, which integrate and operationalize all planned activities to enable stores to optimize performance and results.
What You'll Do As the Head of Stores and Operations, you lead the Field Senior Leadership Team, Field Visual and Store Operations teams.
You collaborate with the (Sr.
) Director Teams in field leadership, field visual and store operations to identify opportunities to evolve our current business.
You collaborate with cross functional business partners and advocate on behalf of the stores organization to ensure the proper tools and resources are allocated to achieve commercial success.
You actively pursue details about the marketplace and customers, acting on this information to improve the customer experience.
You build a talent pipeline by development, succession planning and networking.
You drive a performance culture that motivates & inspires teams to deliver outsized value to the organization.

Who You Are Create the vision and direction on key strategic projects
initiatives, inclusive of end to end project management Collaborate with key field, store operations, and headquarters business partners to identify opportunities to evolve our current store operating model.
Architect a multi-year strategy for the field organization that is relevant, realistic, and is aligned to our brand filters
goals.
Influence store and upper field leader roles to drive and develop new behaviors.
Conduct analysis and summarization to measure effectiveness of key projects while keeping key business partners informed.
Develop course of action, both short and long term, for process and performance improvement.
Grow people's capabilities to build a talent pipeline for the field organization, and brand.
Demonstrated ability to:

Minimum of 5
years of complex business leadership.
Flexible to work days, nights, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
